Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Cartersville, GA. The ideal Stand Up Forklift Operator will have experience operating stand-up forklifts or reach trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations while ensuring product accuracy, quality, and safety standards are met.

The successful Stand Up Forklift Operator will be responsible for loading, unloading, staging, and transporting products throughout the warehouse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete daily forklift maintenance and pre-shift inspection reports.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Move products onto pallets in the correct positions.
  • Scan products and transport them to designated loading and staging areas.
  • Verify product accuracy and proper placement.
  • Direct products to the appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Secure products using stretch wrap and apply correct labels.
  • Record material information, weights, counts, and product conditions using RF scanning systems.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock loaders safely.
  • Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and lifting devices.
  • Perform inventory counts and product audits as needed.
  • Label, sort, stack, wrap, and tie products according to company procedures.
  • Recharge, maintain, and clean forklift batteries while using appropriate PPE.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Sweep and clean work areas as necessary.
  • Wear company-provided cold-weather PPE during warehouse operations.
  • Conduct all tasks in accordance with company safety standards.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean personal work area.
  • Assist with inventory and utility functions as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a stand-up forklift or reach truck.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read and speak English.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment basic math assessment.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
