Volt is immediately hiring for a Machine Operator in Carlsbad, Ca.
Summary:
Operate and maintain printers, perform basic maintenance, prepare machines for production, and media blast printed parts according to job specifications. Ensure parts are properly cleaned, powder-free, and meet quality standards.
As a Machine Operator you will:
  • Operate, maintain, and prepare 3D MJF printers, processing stations, and build units for production.
  • Work closely with Project Technicians, Machine Technicians, Leads, and the Finishing Department.
  • Ensure printers meet uptime and productivity (OEE) requirements.
  • Perform media blasting and post-processing tasks according to job sheets and drawings.
  • Inspect parts for quality, verify features, and identify defects.
  • Report equipment issues and notify leads of any questionable parts.
  • Maintain equipment, media levels, and a clean work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and promote a positive team environment.
  • Assist with various production activities and other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Manufacture experience.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and execute work with detailed job instructions.
  • Solid technical attributes.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Beginning Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Able to accomplish tasks without constant supervision.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to pass a drug test and a background check.
  • Monday to Friday shifts available

    • Experience in manufacture.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime may be required)

Pay: $21.00 per hour
