Job description

New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Warehouse Operations Trainee for a client located in Willis, TX to join our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 Hourly

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Summary

Responsible for supporting warehouse operations while developing a thorough understanding of inventory management, logistics coordination, customer support, and business operations. This position is ideal for a motivated, energetic individual who is eager to learn, grow within the company, and take on increasing levels of responsibility. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality

Prepare, package, and coordinate outgoing shipments

Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts

Ensure all warehouse transactions are entered correctly into company systems

Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas

Assist with order fulfillment and shipping documentation

Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal departments

Support logistics and transportation coordination as needed

Identify and report inventory discrepancies or process improvement opportunities

Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas

Learn and understand company products, processes, and operational procedures

Assist with administrative tasks related to inventory, purchasing, and customer service

Follow established quality standards and operational procedures

Demonstrate initiative in learning new processes and taking on additional responsibilities

Support team projects and special assignments as needed

Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory, manufacturing, or customer service experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office

Ability to learn new software systems and processes quickly

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn

Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

Ability to identify problems and develop practical solutions

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
