Job description

Operations & Sales Support
Overview:
Hyatt House Raleigh North Hills is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented team member to support multiple hotel departments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in delivering excellent guest experiences while ensuring smooth back-of-house operations. The Operations & Sales Support Coordinator will assist with hotel operations, sales support, banquet services, accounting tasks, and guest-facing responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Events
  • Support the Sales team with client site visits, group contacts, and pre-event planning.
  • Prepare meeting rooms, banquet setups, banquet bars and food for banquet events.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and operations to ensure successful events.
  • Assist with sales admin tasks as time permits.

Operations & Guest Services
  • Assist with food & beverage, including breakfast service and bar operations.
  • Support daily hotel operations, covering the Front Desk as needed.
  • Coordinate and assist with group arrivals and departures, ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out process.
  • Place orders for banquet events and assist as needed with breakfast or bar orders.

Accounting & Administrative Support
  • Assist with processing invoices, direct billing, and night audit packet review
  • Support accounting functions, including reconciling chargebacks, vendor ordering, inventories, and end of month process
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting as directed by management.

Qualifications:
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred (front desk, F&B, sales, or accounting background is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexible and willing to jump in where needed to support the team.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting processes and hotel systems (Opera Cloud, Micros, etc.) is a plus.
  • Must be able to workdays, evenings, weekends and Holidays as needed. We are open 365 days a year, 24/7 and staff according to business and staffing needs!
