Job description

Job Summary:

The primary focus of this position is to perform daily tasks associated with yard duties. Works closely with field management, project managers, and support staff within the traffic, fleet, safety, and construction departments. Reports to Project Manager regarding operations performance and execution challenges.

Example of Duties:

  • Responsible for maintaining the service yard, warehouse and/or office including:
    1. Garbage pickup.
    2. Yard landscape maintenance (weed whacking).
    3. Upkeep of the office trailer.
    4. Stocking supplies.
  • Assists Fleet and Safety Coordinators with equipment maintenance including:
    1. Loading, stocking, and tooling trucks.
    2. Fueling equipment and vehicles.
    3. Delivery and pick up of trucks in Pro Energy’s service area.
    4. Truck and equipment cleaning/washing.
  • Runs errands as requested (U.S. Post Office, Home Depot, Office Depot, etc.).
  • Prioritizes requested tasks from each department. Collaborates with Project Manager and Superintendent to discuss prioritization as needed.
  • Ensures that DEF, water, and ice is always stocked.
  • Supports all departments (traffic control, fleet, safety, and construction) to ensure their operation runs smoothly.
  • Responds to the yard when an alarm is activated.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Effective communication (oral, written, listening).
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience and/or knowledge of operating towable trailer preferred.

Experience/Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year experience.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Possession of a valid California driver's license, Class C, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company’s insurance carrier is required.
