Job description

Tharros is seeking an Operations Supportfor an upcoming program supporting a US Navy customer focused on research, engineering, and technical center focused on information warfare, cybersecurity, C4ISR, electronic warfare, AI/ML, communications, and related defense technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational and technical support for Navy Command and Control (C2) systems supporting joint, coalition, and fleet operations across afloat and shore-based environments.
  • Assist with system monitoring, operational coordination, troubleshooting, and support activities for mission applications, tactical data systems, and operational planning tools.
  • Support testing, training, experimentation events, and operational exercises by coordinating system readiness, validating functionality, and assisting end users with mission execution activities.
  • Collaborate with engineers, operators, and government stakeholders to support workflow development, system integration efforts, and implementation of operational requirements.
  • Maintain operational documentation, status reporting, technical procedures, and support materials related to C2 applications, DevSecOps environments, and mission support activities.
  • Provide support for software deployments, cybersecurity compliance activities, and operational sustainment efforts within representative Navy environments including CANES, tactical command centers, and afloat systems.
