Job Overview

The Sales Operational Support representative plays a key role in providing front-line support to the Patriot Mobile sales group. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers engaging through chat. This role focuses on rapid responses to inquiries, answering product questions, qualifying the lead, and transferring interested contacts to our outbound sales agents for closing.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Engage website and ad-sourced leads through a chat platform in real-time.
  • Work closely with the development team to train and improve an AI assistant that supports sales and member service operations by providing accurate responses to common inquiries based on actual online interaction with potential and current members.
  • Answer product questions and explain Patriot Mobile's plan options, network, and mission.
  • Ask qualifying questions to assess lead readiness.
  • Build rapport with prospects by identifying their needs and aligning with the company values.
  • Maintain an upbeat, friendly, and helpful tone in all communications.
  • Seamlessly transfer high-intent leads to outbound agents or schedule a callback.
  • Log conversation, lead notes, and dispositions accurately in the CRM.
  • Meet or exceed daily response times and conversation benchmarks.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to quickly learn, analyze situations, and make decisions which support the mission of Patriot Mobile.
  • 1+ years in a customer-facing, sales, or chat-based support role.
  • Excellent written communication and typing speed
  • Friendly and persuasive demeanor with strong listening skills.
  • Comfortable using sales scripts and objection-handling techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Dependable, including excellent attendance.
  • Willing to work overtime and Saturdays.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including MS teams.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in sales, operations, or executive administrative support is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment.
  • Must be able to lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
