Operations Support Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Operations Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting administrative and operational functions across EMServ and South Central Regional Medical Center. This role serves as a liaison between departments, assists with compliance and reporting activities, supports employee and organizational initiatives, and helps ensure efficient workflows, communication, and documentation management throughout the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent; Basic computer skills; Ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions; Positive team attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with administrative support, data management, compliance reporting, event coordination, healthcare operations, billing, scheduling, or human resources systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with medical necessity forms and coordination between billing, clinical staff, and insurance requirements; Manage data collection for CMS cost reporting; Serve as a liaison and support community partners and affiliated organizations; Maintain documentation for Safety and Emergency Management programs; Prepare and distribute monthly reports for quality, trauma, regulatory committees, Cares Registry, Quality Champions, and MSDH; Support internal auditing and compliance activities; Assist with planning and coordinating employee events and organizational celebrations; Coordinate event logistics and provide operational support; Support departmental workflows and communication initiatives; Collaborate with staff to address operational needs in dispatch, billing, and related areas; Organize, coordinate, and assist with departmental training activities; Manage correspondence, scheduling, and communication with prospective employees; Coordinate non-emergency transport contracts and billing activities; Serve as backup support for HR systems; Maintain Cost Flex accounting data and related records; Perform other duties as assigned.
