What does an operations strategy do?

An operations strategy defines how a company allocates resources, designs processes, and sets priorities to achieve efficiency, quality, and competitive advantage. It guides decision-making across production, supply chain, and service delivery, often involving tools like process analysis and performance metrics. This strategy aligns operational activities with overall business goals and may require skills in planning, analysis, and continuous improvement.

Professionals in operations strategy analyze data and trends to optimize performance and drive long-term success for the organization.
