Key Responsibilities

Business Systems & Digital Solutions Serve as the primary business owner and administrator for Operations Services applications, including responsibility for system configuration, forms, workflows, permissions, and other business-managed settings. Evaluate, prioritize, and implement business-requested system enhancements while serving as the gatekeeper for system changes and ensuring appropriate governance and standardization. Design, develop, and maintain business applications, automated workflows, and digital tools that improve operational efficiency and data accessibility. Partner with IT, Data & Analytics, software vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, coordinate system updates, and support application testing, releases, and issue resolution. Develop and maintain documentation, configuration standards, and governance processes for supported applications.

Data Analytics, Business Insights, & Stakeholder Enablement Lead the analytics strategy for Operations Services by developing actionable insights, performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting solutions. Serve as a primary analytics resource and trusted advisor to Operations Services leadership, translating business needs into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations. Partner with Operations Services leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiencies, and data-driven decision-making. Perform operational, financial, regulatory, and sustainability analyses to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives. Develop executive reporting, scorecards, KPIs, and ad-hoc analyses that support operational and strategic decision-making.

Reporting & Performance Insights Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, executive reporting packages, scorecards, KPIs, and visualizations supporting operational, regulatory, environmental, sustainability, fleet, security, and executive reporting. Ensure reporting assets are reliable, documented, and aligned with approved business definitions, performance metrics, and enterprise standards. Promote self-service reporting capabilities while ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of business data through standardized reporting and validation practices.

Data Governance & Continuous Improvement Lead efforts to improve data quality, resolve reporting issues, and establish governance standards for business-managed systems and operational data. Promote consistent data definitions, business processes, and stewardship practices across supported applications. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve business workflows, and increase operational efficiency through technology. Ensure appropriate controls, compliance, and continuous improvement for operational, financial, and regulatory data.

Team Leadership & Development Provide technical leadership and establish best practices for analytics, reporting, automation, and business systems administration. Mentor team members and support the long-term strategy, resource planning, and growth of the Business Systems & Analytics function for Operations Services. Supervise analysts or other technical resources as organizational needs evolve.

Education / Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. 10+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, operational reporting, or business process improvement. Experience supporting operational business functions such as HSE, Supply Chain Management, Production Accounting, Fleet, Security, Finance, or Operations preferred. Experience developing dashboards, reports, workflows, or business applications using modern analytics and digital platforms. Oil and gas industry experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Strong experience with Power BI, Excel, and SQL. Experience developing digital solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) or similar low-code platforms. Familiarity with enterprise data platforms and reporting environments. Experience with data visualization, dashboard design, and KPI development. Understanding of data management, governance, and reporting best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Ability to translate business challenges into practical analytical and digital solutions. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain insights to non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative mindset with a customer-service orientation toward business stakeholders.
