We are looking for Sr. Analyst Quality Systems & Compliance  to join our team at our Burnsville, MN site. This role supports the repair station’s Quality organization as an individual contributor while partnering with the Service Center Team and the Avionics Quality organization. This role assists with ensuring continued Quality Management System compliance and compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), and Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) requirements. This individual will work to achieve objectives that have a significant impact on the organization's compliance goals. This position will use experience and knowledge to influence processes, standards, and plans to improve compliance with internal and external standards.

What You Will Do

  • Reviews and makes recommendations for procedures and metrics that support compliance with industry, military, and regulatory standards.

  • Influences others throughout the organization through explanation of policies, government regulations, and agency guidelines to ensure compliance with external standards.

  • Uses minimum standards, tools, and methods to ensure the effectiveness of existing quality processes and sustain quality performance improvements.

  • Conducts quality compliance audit processes and recommends corrective actions and process improvements in response to audit findings.

  • Conducts and documents product compliance investigations processes and recommends corrective actions and process improvements for human factors.

  • Analyzes procedures and metrics that impact quality to develop recommendations for improving compliance with internal standards.

  • Supports audits and compliance to various regulations including FAA, EASA, UK CAA, and CAAC.

  • Supports Safety Management System (SMS) implementation and compliance.

  • Conducts and develops Quality Training for service center employees.

  • Supports and monitors Quality Stamp control and compliance.

  • Responsible for Quality Control, Inspection Support, and Quality Engineering support.

  • Supports Quality Management System (QMS) compliance to AS9100.

  • Ensures compliance to the Repair Station Manual (RSM) and Repair Station Training Manual (RSTM).

  • Ensures compliance to Operation Specifications and Maintenance Capability Lists.

  • Responsible for final decisions regarding in airworthiness or releasing to service any products under the authority of the applicable Agency Certificate(s) and associated Operating Specifications.

  • Provides guidance regarding Customer quality concerns.

  • Support of internal and external repair station audits.

  • Ensures appropriate containment and root cause corrective actions occur for product investigations and/or process improvements.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment.


Qualifications We Prefer

  • Part 145 repair station experience.

  • Quality Management System (QMS) experience.

  • Understanding of AS9100, or AS9110 regulations.

  • Experience in Aerospace/aviation industry.

  • Previous Leadership/Mentorship experience.

  • Able to work well in cross-functional team environment.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
