Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior QA/Test Analyst with strong SNAP eligibility system experience to support testing of interfaces, integrations, and data exchanges for a large-scale eligibility modernization initiative. This role will focus on validating data movement, interface processing, batch jobs, and system integrations that support SNAP eligibility determination and benefit administration.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of SNAP business processes along with experience testing complex interfaces, data exchanges, and system integrations. This individual will work closely with State stakeholders, solution leads, and offshore development teams to ensure high-quality system integration and data accuracy.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute manual test cases for interfaces, integrations, data exchanges, and batch processing functions
  • Validate inbound and outbound file exchanges, API transactions, and system-to-system integrations
  • Verify data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across integrated systems
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing activities
  • Validate eligibility-related transactions, benefit issuance processing, and interface-driven workflows
  • Review interface specifications, requirements, mapping documents, and technical designs to identify test scenarios
  • Document and manage defects, supporting troubleshooting and resolution activities
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, solution leads, and offshore teams to validate system functionality and issue remediation
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot to support testing, analysis, and documentation activities
  • Support production readiness, deployment validation, and post-implementation verification activities

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of overall experience; should have experience testing public sector eligibility systems, Integrated Eligibility systems, or large-scale government modernization initiatives
  • Strong understanding of SNAP eligibility operations and supporting business processes
  • Experience testing interfaces, integrations, data exchanges, batch processes, and file transfers
  • Experience creating and executing manual test scripts and documenting test results
  • Experience performing data validation and reconciliation activities
  • Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience testing Java-based interfaces and integration solutions
  • Experience testing APIs, web services, file-based integrations, and batch processing systems
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, ALM, or similar test management tools
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Copilot or other AI-assisted testing tools
  • Prior consulting experience supporting government clients
