Viacore Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Quality Analyst to join our operations team in West Des Moines, Iowa. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a passion for quality, process improvement, and technical documentation.

As a Quality Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring product and operational quality through the development of quality standards, inspection programs, training materials, and process documentation. You will also oversee the company's materials testing laboratory, conducting tests on conveyor belt materials and providing meaningful analysis and reporting of test results.

What You'll DoQuality Management & Process Improvement
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing and administrative processes.
  • Create and update training materials that support operational consistency and best practices.
  • Design and execute inspection and quality control programs for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products.
  • Identify, document, and investigate quality non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions with key stakeholders.
  • Analyze quality performance metrics and provide recommendations to improve operational effectiveness and product quality.
  • Complete customer and regulatory compliance documentation, including PFAS, REACH, RoHS, and other applicable standards.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Safety, and other departments to ensure quality standards align with company objectives and industry best practices.
Materials Testing Laboratory
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the West Des Moines testing laboratory.
  • Prepare and catalog testing samples from rubber conveyor belt materials.
  • Conduct laboratory testing using specialized testing and measurement equipment.
  • Accurately document, maintain, and report testing results.
  • Serve as the company's primary contact for laboratory testing activities.
  • Interpret testing data and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management to meet evolving business needs.
