Responsibilities

The Senior Billing Quality Analyst serves as a critical control point across the Opportunity-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle, ensuring billing accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role combines pre-invoice validation, post-billing audit, and analytical review to detect discrepancies, prevent revenue leakage, and drive continuous process improvement.

  • Perform pre-invoice validation of orders, contracts, pricing, and billing schedules
  • Conduct post-invoice audits of billing transactions and accounts receivable
  • Investigate billing discrepancies and identify root causes
  • Validate product configurations, SKUs, and entitlements
  • Identify billing risks and data inconsistencies
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve issues
  • Develop and enforce billing quality standards
  • Track and report KPIs including billing accuracy and error rates
  • Build dashboards and analytical reports
  • Lead process improvement initiatives
  • Support system implementations and testing
  • Identify automation and AI opportunities in billing
  • Ensure compliance with policies and audit requirements
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members

Additional Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated comfort with adopting emerging AI tools and technologies to optimize processes, improve collaboration, and drive operational effectiveness.

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree (AA) in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience auditing contracts, pricing, and billing terms
  • Experience in MSP, SaaS, or services-based environments
  • Exposure to subscription or usage-based billing models
  • Experience is supporting audits
  • Attention to detail
