Description
The Sales Project Manager serves as a strategic execution partner to the VP of Sales, translating sales strategy, leadership decisions, and growth initiatives into clear, executable plans with disciplined follow-through and measurable outcomes. This role exists to remove administrative, organizational, and follow-up burden from Sales leadership, ensuring initiatives move from discussion to execution without loss of momentum.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
  • Act as right-hand partner to the VP of Sales for revenue growth initiatives, sales strategy and training execution, sales project management, headcount growth, and customer care team management.
  • Translate high-level discussions and growth strategy into structured execution plans and practical execution roadmaps.
  • Establish alignment between strategy, planning, documentation, reporting, and real-world execution.
  • Manage completion of sales commitments from leadership and meetings via proactive updates and tracking.
  • Enforce execution and follow-up discipline on initiatives from Sales leadership meetings, One-on-ones, and cross-collaborations.
  • Establish routine check-ins with Sales & Customer Care for alignment towards growth plans and customer management.
  • Partner alongside the VP of Sales with HR for sales team and headcount growth.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to align timing, resources, and capacity.
  • Leverage technology and platforms such as NetSuite ERP, sales dashboards, report cards, Microsoft 365 (Copilot, Teams, OneNote, Planner, etc.), and project management tools (e.g., Monday).
  • Utilize AI to automate repetitive tasks, summarize data, accelerate reporting, and embed AI into sales operations workflows.
  • Stay current on emerging tools and recommend improvements to how the organization operates.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Project Management, or a related execution-focused role
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from planning through execution
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and accountability discipline
  • High comfort with technology and execution-oriented tools
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and executive communication
  • Early adopter of AI tools with demonstrated productivity impact
  • Clear, concise communicator with executive-level judgment
  • Self-starter who takes ownership without needing direction
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influence skills

Salary Description
Salary Range is $100,000-125,000.00
