Job description


This position will function as Control Account Manager (CAM) within the Operations Value Stream reporting to the Operations Program Manager. This position will implement Earned Value Management controls and conduct performance analysis to drive execution, manage risks & opportunities, and make effective business decisions. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all Estimate-At-Completion (EAC) forecasts, program baseline planning, and internal / external program financial reporting are completed accurately and on time, and communication positions and rational. The CAM will collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure successful program integration and drive continuous improvements.
Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree with 5 years of work or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines, ideally in the management of large government acquisition contracts
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application is a plus
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially advanced Excel skills, Power BI a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload
  • Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
