Job Description:


JSL Technologies, Inc. is seeking a qualified Operations Supervisor/Deputy Program Manager to oversee warehouse operations at the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC), Cheatham Annex. This is a contingent hire, pending contract award. The incumbent will be responsible for the overall management of Pre-Production/Sustainment, shelf-life, disposal, inventory, and Biomedical departments, as well as all Government Furnished Property/Material, ensuring Contractor compliance with all contract requirements.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum)

Experience:

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in project management on a multi-function project, contract management, and personnel management
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience supervising at least 10 people performing similar/related types of work on contracts
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in supply chain management settings, including:
    • General supply activities
    • Receiving
    • Inventory management
    • Shelf-life material management
    • Disposal operations
    • Warehousing

Required Knowledge:

  • Overall warehousing storage management plans and accepted warehousing methods
  • Supply functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods
  • Warehousing methods, procedures, material handling techniques
  • Material receiving, issuing, and preservation activities
  • Programs utilized in providing material support
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with database management systems, such as DMLSS (required)
  • Familiarity with HIMS or similar inventory management systems

Other Requirements:

  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Ability to pass background investigation
  • Must complete required DoD/BUMED IT security training

On-Site Requirement


The Operations Manager shall be on-site during normal working hours (0630-1700, Monday-Friday).


Security Clearance:


Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD Government- granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
