How will you make an impact?  

Responsibilities

  • The Program Manager - Flight Operations SMS Promotion is responsible for training, communication, and other actions to create a positive safety culture within the pilot workforce.
  • Manager activites include SMS training, advocating/strengething a positive safety culture, system and safety communication and awareness, and disseminating safety lessons learned. 
  • Manager participates in company safety working groups and industry safety summits and conferences. 
  • Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the day-to-day line operations and have the ability to maintain aircraft qualifications
Qualifications

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and the ability to prioritize work and projects in order to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated
  • Minimum age of 18
  • College degree in a technical field or equivalent amount of airline experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all FAA rules/regulations
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States
  • Technical writing experience preferred
  • Previous managerial experience preferred
  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate preferred
  • Airline operations experience preferred
