Operations Manager – (Wixom, MI)
The Operations Manager is an important and influential member of our team who leads and directs the operations of our Wixom, Michigan branch. This leader directly oversees Operational Supervisors representing approximately 25-50 production team members whose main goal is to provide services in alignment with customer expectations, company values, and safety standards.
Like all Manager-level roles at DJ’s, leadership and collaboration skills are essential. Operations Managers are a central representation of company values, culture, and team member engagement. Additional key responsibilities
include coaching and developing team members, partnering with customer service teams, driving operational efficiency, and planning and managing resources to meet customer needs.

Successful Operations Managers have experience leading lawn and landscape maintenance operations, including mowing, landscape maintenance, enhancements, snow and ice management, and related field services. Requirements
  • 5+ years of management experience within the Green Industry leading teams and field operations
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to oversee and facilitate the completion of customer service contracts and projects
  • Ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop Team Members, including interviewing, hiring, accountability, and discipline
  • Proactive planning skills to ensure labor, equipment, materials, and resources are available to support operations
  • Ability to manage labor hours and implement solutions to improve efficiency and service delivery
  • Commitment to safety procedures, quality standards, and operational accountability
  • Ability to organize, manage, and care for assigned equipment, vehicles, and operational resources
