Job description

The Program Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional battery, energy storage, and vehicle electrification programs from concept through validated, world-class volume production launch. This role serves as the central coordinator between engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, business development, and executive leadership to ensure that both product and manufacturing processes are developed, validated, and launched on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer, automotive quality, regulatory, and business requirements.

The Program Manager drives program execution, manages risks and opportunities, tracks key milestones, and provides clear communication to stakeholders while supporting ONE's mission to develop and manufacture innovative battery technologies and energy storage solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Program Management, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
  • Master's degree and/or PMP Certification is a plus
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience in automotive, battery manufacturing, energy storage, advanced manufacturing, or related industries
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical development programs
  • Experience with new product introduction (NPI), product launch, or manufacturing scale-up activities preferred
  • Familiarity with APQP, stage-gate product development, or similar program management methodologies preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent project planning and execution capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence teams without direct authority
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with project management software and reporting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • Ability to frequently communicate with employees, customers, and suppliers in person, by phone, and electronically.
  • Ability to occasionally walk through manufacturing, laboratory, and development environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Primarily office and engineering development environment
  • Regular interaction with manufacturing, testing, and laboratory operations
  • Occasional exposure to production equipment, battery systems, chemicals, and industrial environments requiring appropriate PPE
