Job Description

As Regional Program Manager - Contract Manufacturing Organization, you will be responsible for managing the relationship between Rockwell Automation and our contract manufacturing partners in North America. You will facilitate the manufacturing of direct ship ETO solutions. This role will be focused on driving performance at our partners to meet customer shipment deadlines and achieve target project costs. This is a leadership role with responsibility for partner execution, cost productivity, project management and accountability for deadlines, results, and metrics. You will be a central Operations interface, to manage engagement with Partners, Engineering teams, and other departments, to deliver the best cost, and supply continuity, while mitigating supply chain risk. You will report directly to the Global Operations Leader, Contract Manufacturing Organization.

This is a hybrid role that can be based in our Milwaukee, WI, Twinsburg, OH or Mayfield Heights, OH locations.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead contract manufacturing programs across the North American region.
  • Manage relationships with external manufacturing partners, ensuring they meet Rockwell Automation's quality, cost, delivery, and compliance standards.
  • Align contract manufacturers with Rockwell's operational and strategic goals, including capacity planning, risk management, and performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, sourcing, engineering, quality, and operations teams.
  • Guide program execution and continuous improvement, helping scale production while controlling cost and mitigating supply risks.
  • Ensure that Rockwell Automation's outsourced manufacturing network in North America operates aligned with our goals.
  • Participation in negotiating strategic agreements with our Partners.
  • Ensure quality following Rockwell standards and expectations.
  • Develop talent according to Rockwell's Managerial Accountabilities.
  • Collaborate with other regions in sharing and adopting best practices.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • The ability to travel 15% of the time.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years management experience.
  • Advanced Degree in engineering, business, operations, supply chain, or another related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a manufacturing environment in either a supply chain, sourcing or operations management role.
  • Industrial engineering experience in an electrical assembly environment, automation solutions, or field engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of project engineering processes and methodologies.
  • Engagement in ERP/MRP systems (IFS and SAP experience is preferred).
  • Experience in successful negotiations of legal contracts.
  • Experience leading cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
