Program Manager – Aerospace & Defense Electronics Manufacturing

NEOTech | Longmont, CO 80503
Full-Time | 1st Shift | $110,000–$120,000

Lead Customer Programs in High-Reliability Electronics Manufacturing

NEOTech is hiring a Program Manager for our Longmont operation to lead customer programs in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

This is a customer-facing manufacturing program role — not a general project management position. We're looking for someone whose experience includes managing customer programs tied to manufactured products, ideally within electronics manufacturing, EMS/contract manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or another closely related high-reliability manufacturing environment.

As Program Manager, you'll serve as the voice of the customer and lead the Customer Focus Team for your assigned accounts. You'll connect customer requirements with Operations, Account Management, Business Development and other internal teams while helping drive operational performance, financial results and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Own

  • Serve as the voice of the customer for assigned programs and accounts.
  • Lead Customer Focus Team meetings and drive customer and internal action items to closure.
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular communication, meetings and program reviews.
  • Manage customer forecasts and communicate changing requirements internally.
  • Partner closely with Operations to support production schedules and customer commitments.
  • Monitor program profitability and review actual project costs against quoted expectations.
  • Support customer pricing, quote activity and cost requirements.
  • Coordinate ECO/ECN implementation and communicate associated cost impacts.
  • Monitor customer inventory, quality, delivery, inventory turns, tariffs, duty recovery and other account metrics.
  • Identify excess and obsolete inventory and coordinate mitigation plans with Account Management and customers.
  • Escalate program risks and issues when needed and drive cross-functional resolution.
  • Support Account Management and site leadership in identifying opportunities for organic account growth.
  • Support Business Development during new-customer and new-program launches.
  • Communicate program performance, priorities and risks clearly to customers and internal leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of relevant program management experience.
  • Experience managing programs in an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Experience working in or closely with a manufacturing operation.
  • Demonstrated customer-facing program or account responsibility.
  • Experience coordinating across Operations and other cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs, customers and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong business and financial aptitude, including the ability to understand and communicate program costs and financial performance.
  • Intermediate or greater Excel skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including occasional overnight and international travel as required.
  • Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or electronics contract manufacturing.
  • PCBA or electronics manufacturing programs.
  • Customer forecasting, quoting and pricing.
  • Program profitability or account financial management.
  • ECO/ECN and product-change coordination.
  • Inventory and excess-and-obsolete (E&O) management.
  • Continuous improvement and quality management systems.
  • CEPM certification or equivalent experience.

The Background That Tends to Fit

Candidates who align well with this opportunity typically have experience managing customer programs connected directly to manufacturing execution.

Your current title might be:

  • Program Manager
  • Customer Program Manager
  • Manufacturing Program Manager
  • Account Program Manager
  • Aerospace/Defense Program Manager
  • Electronics Program Manager
  • NPI Program Manager
  • Customer Account Manager

What's most important is experience bringing together the customer, manufacturing operation, program requirements and business performance — and being accountable for getting results.

Due to ITAR and / or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3).

Why NEOTech

Benefits Offered: Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage; company-paid basic life/AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance; voluntary supplemental insurances, flexible spending accounts and employee assistance program (EAP).
