This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph to be considered.
A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.
Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking a Program Manager to support USSOCOM. The Program Manager will interface with senior levels of customer organizations and consult with customers to formulate and review plans and deliverables, ensuring conformity with program and project task schedules, costs, and contractual obligations.

Program Manager Responsibilities Include:
  • Reviews technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers.
  • Keeps both customer and contractor management abreast of issues, risks, and accomplishments.
  • Gathers customer requirements, holds technical exchange meetings, and provides status reporting on all activities while conducting stakeholder briefings.
  • Ensures seamless integration across all functions of Task Order
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for customer escalations and consult with them to negotiate adjustments to plans, costs, or schedules
  • Compiles, reviews, and presents the monthly status report to customer leadership
  • Analyzes cost, schedule, and performance data from technical reports to identify variances and develop formal corrective action plans.
  • Ensures all activities and deliverables align with client priorities and national-level objectives.
  • Provides financial and budget execution updates to leadership.
  • Provides administrative oversight to all personnel on this Task Order.
  • Ensures contractor travel requests are adequately processed and funded.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Program Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Current TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph
  • Master's degree in Business Management or closely related discipline
  • Minimum of 20 Years of experience in discipline with at least 12 years supporting SOF or Interagency units:
    • Providing leadership or management services within USSOCOM enterprise
      • Supervising and training subordinates
      • Executing projects on schedule and within budget
      • Addressing emerging project requirements
      • Exhibiting workforce recruitment, hiring, and retention
  • Active Project Management Professional certification or equivalent
  • Demonstrates extensive ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to Defense planners and policymakers (e.g. Undersecretary level or higher).
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
