Job description

INCUMBENTS ONLY Locations: Altus AFB
  • Manages C-17 Training System logistics operations and assigned personnel.
  • Oversees inventory storage, control, distribution, and asset management.
  • Coordinates acquisition, replenishment, repair, replacement, and disposition of assets.
  • Monitors logistics data, inventory levels, and supportability requirements.
  • Identifies and resolves logistics and supportability issues.
  • Oversees logistics analysis, data analytics, and trend analysis.
  • Manages support equipment, material handling, packaging, storage, and transportation activities.
  • Supports sustainment, obsolescence, and concurrency planning.
  • Ensures required logistics documentation, reports, audits, and CDRLs are completed.
  • Coordinates with program management, maintenance, engineering, and customer personnel to support contract requirements.
  • Provides guidance and direction to logistics personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Candidate must currently be sitting in the position to be considered for this role.
  • Candidate must currently be performing the duties and responsibilities associated with the position.
  • Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field with 5 years of related logistics experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience totaling a minimum of 8 years.
  • Previous experience managing logistics, inventory, parts, or asset management operations preferred.
  • Experience with maintenance or parts data management platforms preferred.
  • Experience with asset management, sustainment, obsolescence, and concurrency preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management required.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills required.
  • Candidate must meet all applicable position, program, and site requirements.
