Meter is a company focused on evolving internet infrastructure into a utility, and they are seeking a Technician Operations professional to support their deployment engine. The role involves guiding field technicians, troubleshooting issues, and building systems to streamline installations, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Running live installation support shifts - answering technician questions, guiding them through steps, and escalating blockers.
โ€ข Troubleshooting networking and hardware issues in real time, logging root causes, and ensuring fixes stick.
โ€ข Documenting progress across active installs and pushing updates to project managers and internal stakeholders.
โ€ข Spotting recurring issues and working with Operations Engineering to design new playbooks, tools, or product changes.
โ€ข Translating technician feedback into product improvements, ensuring our hardware and software are purpose-built for the field.
