Founded in 2019 by a team of litigators and engineers, Syllo enables legal teams to securely harness the power of AI across any matter, regardless of complexity or scale. Our technology supports Fortune 500 companies and AmLaw 200 firms in managing their most complex litigation portfolios. Awarded ILTA Transformative Project of the Year and ALM eDiscovery Technology of the Year for 2026, we are the market leader in enterprise grade litigation AI. Backed by top tier VCs, we empower enterprise legal departments to move faster, mitigate risk, and push the boundaries of what technology can achieve.
About the role
Design lean, effective operational systems that help Syllo scale with clarity and speed.
This role is centered on identifying operational friction across Company Operations and designing structural solutions that keep Syllo moving fast. You will diagnose pain points across the business and build, document, and implement clear processes that make daily execution seamless for everyone.
Your scope spans team communication protocols, Slack channel architectures, weekly reporting rhythms, documentation repositories, and formal operational workflows. The goal isn't to add corporate red tape, but rather to construct lightweight, intuitive systems that empower our team to deliver high-quality work without unnecessary overhead.
We are looking for a pragmatic operational designer who loves turning ambiguity into structured, sustainable momentum.
What you will do
  • Solve operational bottlenecks: Directly identify organizational pain points and design structural, repeatable fixes across team workflows.
  • Optimize communication architectures: Refine internal communication protocols, Slack channel structures, and async cadences to decrease noise and boost clarity.
  • Establish reporting & delivery rhythms: Structure lightweight weekly reporting mechanisms and operational cadences that keep leadership and teams aligned.
  • Build intuitive knowledge repositories: Address documentation gaps by creating accessible, centralized knowledge hubs across company functions.
  • Keep operations lean: Continually audit processes to remove administrative friction, ensuring operational structures stay lean and adaptable as we scale.
What you bring
  • Pragmatic process design: Skill for creating lightweight, effective systems that teams adopt naturally without feeling bogged down by bureaucracy.
  • Communication ecosystem strategy: Experience organizing communication tools (Slack, Notion, async channels) to keep remote teams aligned.
  • Root-cause problem solving: Sharp analytical mindset for breaking down operational breakdowns into clear, fixable components.
  • Documentation instinct: Passion for clear, concise documentation that turns complex institutional knowledge into easy self-serve resources.
  • Cross-functional empathy: Collaborative style that builds trust and alignment with department leads across the entire company.
Experience and qualifications
  • 5+ years in operational excellence, process management, business operations, or management consulting within high-growth tech environments.
  • Proven track record designing and implementing cross-functional processes, reporting cadences, and internal communication standards.
  • Experience creating structured documentation hubs and knowledge management systems for distributed workforces.
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline operational workflows without introducing heavy administrative burdens.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Total rewards and benefits
At Syllo, we believe in taking care of our team so they can focus on building the future of legal tech.
  • Compensation: Competitive base salary + equity options. Range: $120K-160K
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and voluntary insurance options. Vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays. Access to benefit counselors and fitness class reimbursements.
  • Growth: Annual learning and development budget and real career growth in a fast-scaling organization.
