Opportunity


The Demand Planner is the linking pin between Sales of the Industry and order execution within OrderEngineering, Supply Chain and Installation. The Demand Planner will take an active part in implementinga common Operations Planning and Control Framework for JBT Marel, based on best practices. TheDemand Planner is positioned within the sales function of the industry and will report to the ManagerDemand Planning (if applicable). The Demand Planner will work closely with the sales engineers, layoutdesign, Techcenter, manufacturing colleagues and project managers.

Reports to Director of Sales Engineering (functional - strategy) Director of Sales Engineering

Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating, providing and planning targeted delivery dates / periods
Play an active day to day role in the Master Scheduling process to ensure smooth order execution
Maintain a total overview of the open orders within the industry and what phase they are in, mixdemand input into the Master Schedule
Take key decisions such as in which manufacturing location to produce equipment based on
guidelines provided by the supply chain
Resolve issues that come up within the order execution process, reschedule orders as needed
Generates input into the monthly sales, operations & resources planning process to plan for upcomingchanges in the business which includes activities like:


Translate the sales forecast in EUR's into a demand in hours building up the demand pipeline
Organize the resource planning capacity within sales of the industry
Participate in drafting demand-capacity scenarios for Sales (lead times, revenues and resources)
Execute sales, operations & resources planning actions in industry
Keeping all relevant stakeholders informed regularly

Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Bachelors or masters degree in business or Science or equivalent relevant work experience
Experience in production control, planning or project management is preferred.
Experience with ERP systems
Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
Experience with and comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times
Hybrid work schedule, 3/4 days in office and 1/2 days remote
