Daikin Applied is seeking aDistrict Operations Supervisor. Location: Punta Gorda, FL - In-Office

Your Responsibilities:

  • Act as the escalation contact for customer issues or concerns
  • Support sales through job quotation and estimation
  • Approves estimates for scope of work, labor hours and material content, assesses profit risk of jobs, control material and labor costs, and provides feedback to the District Manager
  • Establish project timelines, meet with customers to communicate and coordinate project schedules
  • Manage projects, assign Technicians, oversee ordering of equipment and material, and assure that proper customer signoffs are secured per JSOX requirements
  • Provide leadership and supervision to technician team and be responsible for the team's development and training
  • Oversee quotation of call-in work, transactional sales, and assign techs as needed to ensure that quotes are delivered to customers on a timely basis
  • Provide consistent interface with current customer base and establish effective working relationships in order to identify additional selling opportunities
  • Ensure that maintenance contract commitments are fulfilled and inspections completed on time.
  • Provides input to Service Coordinators on scheduling activity of technicians
  • Oversee contract renewal, escalation, and upgrades on assigned house accounts
  • Work with the technician team to generate pull-through service and repair work on existing house accounts
  • Manage Tech Tip program and lead customer care initiatives
  • Responsible for technician reviews and will ensure completed on time each year
  • Support technician training by coordinating training Regional Trainer while reporting training plan and budget to the District Manager
  • Work with Account Managers and District Manager in order to resolve customer issues, including customer visits
  • Provide weekly job status, revenue, and warranty recovery report to the District Manager
  • Own the performance management of technicians (i.e. goals setting, performance reviews, performance management)


Your Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Bachelors Preferred)
  • 4-6+ years of related work experience in the commercial HVAC industry or related field
  • 2+ years of prior experience managing technicians or employees in a similar role required
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC design, systems, applications, and energy saving solutions
  • Demonstrated success in strategically leading business units

This position may be filled at different levels depending on the candidate's education, experience, and demonstrated competencies.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $73,300 to $120,700 plus a targeted incentive plan in Florida. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
