Are you a hands-on hospitality leader with a passion for service, standards, and making every guest experience exceptional?
Cambria Hotel Boston Downtown is looking for an Operations Manager to help drive excellence across our front desk and food & beverage operations. This role is perfect for someone who's ready to lead from the floor, energize a team, and step into a key leadership role at a hotel that lives and breathes The Journey-our culture of people-first hospitality and memorable service.
What You'll Do
As Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the Front Desk and Housekeeping teams. You'll work closely with department heads and the Assistant General Manager to ensure every guest interaction reflects our commitment to quality and care. You'll also serve as Manager on Duty, with a strong presence in evenings, weekends, and holidays.
You'll:
  • Lead with a "guest-first, can-do" attitude
  • Train and support team members in both front desk and housekeeping areas
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management
  • Conduct inspections and follow through on service recovery
  • Support deep-cleaning schedules, inventory tracking, and vendor communication
  • Step in as needed to support the team-including shifts at the desk or in housekeeping

What You Bring
โ€ข 3-5 years of hotel operations experience
โ€ข Leadership experience in Room Division
โ€ข Strong problem-solving and people skills
โ€ข Ability to motivate and manage a team with professionalism and empathy
โ€ข Familiarity with hotel systems (Choice Advantage PMS, Microsoft Office)
