Job description

Patriot Truss & Components is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the operations of our truss manufacturing company. The C.O.O will oversee manufacturing, production, engineering, purchasing, logistics, quality, and safety while driving operational efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing and plant operations
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to support company growth
  • Improve production efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Oversee plant leadership, purchasing, logistics, and maintenance
  • Monitor budgets, KPIs, and operational performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

  • Build and develop high-performing leadership teams


Requirements

  • Experience in truss, lumber, building materials, or construction manufacturing required
  • The minimum work week to consist of Monday-Friday.
    • Normal hours 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
    • Additional hours may be required at times to meet deadlines
  • Strong leadership, financial, and operational management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Be tentative via phone on vacation in case of an emergency.
  • Attending weekly meetings as needed. If a meeting cannot be made a 24-hour notice will be needed

This is an on-site leadership position based at our Hobart, Indiana manufacturing facility. Candidates must be able to work on-site, as this role requires daily interaction with our production and leadership teams.
