Job Summary and Qualifications

Oversees pharmacy campus operations, programs, transitions and activities consistent with the pharmacy directors’ and Senior Leadership’s objectives. 

Essential Accountabilities: 

  • Establishes objectives to accomplish department/hospital’s goals
  • Supports the financial management for area 
  • Manages departmental operations to ensure area meets or exceeds the expectations of customers 
  • Oversees the management of the flow of pharmaceutical product and staff between all pharmacy service campuses to ensure processes are efficient and effective in meeting department goals and objectives 
  • Provides pharmacy service leadership through people who have a direct impact on the department’s/hospital’s area of responsibility 
  • Participates in leadership growth and development.

What qualifications you will need:

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy

Preferred Education: Master's Degree

Required License/Certification:licensed Pharmacist, BCLS may be required for those leaders providing patient care 

Required Experience: Five years of hospital technical and managerial experience in pharmacy. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and Intranet software, e-mail
