Job description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our client's team at their facility in Brockville, ON. A minimum of 5 years of previous work experience in a similar Operations Management role within the LTL Transportation industry is required for this position. Salary: $70,000-75,000/year Responsibilities: - Directing/coordinating the daily operations to provide quality service to customers - Communicating with dispatch and dock to coordinate movement of trailers and freight, ensuring orders are delivered in a timely manner - Coordinating with customers to ensure their needs are met, investigating and resolving complaints and issues - Interviewing and training of new personnel - Preparing the budget and analysis of company KPIs to increase profits and improve processes - Enforcing company policies and procedures, safety and government regulations - Other duties as required Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years' of Operations management experience within the LTL Transportation industry - Experience working with dispatch and dock personnel - Proven leadership skills and the ability to build a team, fostering a positive work environment through coaching and mentoring - Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) - Strong organizational skills as well as analytic and planning skills - Able to work full-time in Brockville, Ontario If you have the experience we require and are looking for a new job opportunity, please apply now.
