The Operations Manager will assist the Facility Manager in the daily operations of the service center. The Operations Manager also assumes the responsibilities of the Facility Manager in his/her absence.

Position Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety policies and procedures are being adhered to by all employees
  • Set schedule based on daily review of customer demand
  • Ensures that all jobs are completed on time while maintaining appropriate level of quality
  • Provides training to all Shift Leaders and technicians as necessary
  • Distributes, directs, and designates the work to be done by the employees
  • Rectifies any problems or irregularities which arise
  • Monitors normal housekeeping in the cleaning area on all shifts
  • Maintains thorough working knowledge of the Companys contingency plan for the facility
  • RCRA duties include assisting the Manager in the administration and supervision of all areas of Residual Management
  • Controls supplies, chemicals, cleaning agents and utilities in accordance with established procedures
  • Conducts activities related to waste and water management
  • Works to resolve any complaints, safety violations/accidents, interruptions of work, and potential disciplinary or production problems among the other employees
  • Communicates with customers to ensure deadline compliance as directed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months related experience, or a combination of higher education and experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to resolve problems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong math skills required
