Operations Manager Intern Position Type: Internship (Stipend) Reports To: Chief Executive Officer / Director of Operations Location: Hybrid (Central Arkansas Preferred) Duration: Semester, Summer, or Year-Round Position Summary The Operations Manager Intern serves as a key member of the MARLON SHEARD GROUP, INC. leadership development program by supporting the daily operations of a diversified portfolio of businesses. This internship is designed to provide hands-on executive-level experience in business administration, strategic planning, operations management, project coordination, and organizational leadership. Interns will work directly alongside executive leadership to improve operational efficiency, coordinate projects, analyze business performance, and assist with launching and managing new ventures across the company's business units. This internship is intended for students and emerging professionals who desire real-world executive management experience while developing leadership, analytical, and organizational skills. Primary Responsibilities Business Operations * Assist in the day-to-day management of company operations. * Coordinate operational activities among multiple business divisions. * Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Monitor organizational workflows and recommend process improvements. * Prepare operational reports and executive summaries. Project Management * Track strategic initiatives from planning through implementation. * Coordinate meetings, schedules, deadlines, and deliverables. * Maintain project management dashboards. * Assist with event planning and execution. * Ensure accountability for assigned projects.
