This position is an excellent opportunity with advancement possibilities for demonstrated leaders who believe in providing top-notch service in asafe and fun work environment. Qualified candidates will have prior management and leadership experience in a rental car or other fast-paced, similar work environment.

Reports to: Area Manager

Manages: Supervisors, Leads and hourly team

Scope: Single site - all shifts

Accountable for: Labor, turns and safety

What you'll do daily:

  • Run the Plan of the Day and publish it to supervisors and leads
  • Submit an accurate, timely daily flash to track the sites productivity and profitability
  • Send the daily site summary. Collect shift summaries from leads and supervisors — especially out-of-scope work performed.
  • Staff to the labor plan. Challenge overtime.
  • Review accident and incident reports.
  • Manage and post employee schedule - communicate the schedule to the client
  • Meet production in a fast-paced airport environment. Deal with the customer professionally. Keep the lot clean and compliant.

Weekly

  • Management team meetings, safety huddles, client meetings
  • Reconcile flash to billing and payroll by end of business Wednesday.
  • Ensure ancillary and out-of-scope services are billed per contract.
  • Set next week's flash and planner; lock the schedule to projected transactions.

Safety and Compliance

  • Lead the site safety audit — lot hazards, road risk, wash bay equipment. Keep a visible Days Since Last Accident tracker.
  • Run a safety committee that includes every associate level. Deliver safety appreciation. Train every supervisor and lead on the safety program.
  • Correct hiring paperwork and screening — background checks, DMV, and all required documentation.
  • Performance evaluations for every Supervisor and Lead within 30 days of quarter end. Union Free Training for supervisors and leads.

Who this is for:

  • 21 or older, with at least one year of management experience. High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's preferred.
  • Rental car or similar fast-paced ops leadership - and real responsibility for labor cost and gross profit, not headcount alone.
  • You can build a schedule to a transaction forecast and explain a miss without making excuses
  • You work inside the customer's system (COMPASS, DAYTONA, Service Notes) and you're credible with a customer GM or District Manager.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving history, and a background check in accordance with local law.

The Offer

  • $70,000+ plus an annual bonus plan.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • A path to Area Manager - and advancement opportunities nationwide
