This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations: Troubadour Golf & Field Club, set outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking a Spa & Fitness Attendant to join the Wellness Department.
The Spa & Fitness Attendant will be key contributor to creating an warm environment in our Spa and Wellness Facilities. The Spa & Fitness Attendant will welcome members and guest to the Spa and assist them with the transition of their services, informing them of products and services available. The Spa Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Spa and Wellness areas, and help with general Spa operations. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities


Member Interactions
o Greet members with a warm, friendly and sincere welcome upon arrival.
o Educate members about products or services that can complement the treatment.
o Provide members with a thorough and knowledgeable understanding of spa, salon and fitness services, and provide details of products or services that can complement the treatment.
o Actively promote the Wellness Program, treatments, retail, and available promotions.
o Provide anticipatory service to members while they are visiting, including asking if they are interested in any beverage and or snack offering.
o Listens and addresses member requests and responds with appropriate action and provides accurate information.
o Demonstrate the highest levels of respect, sensitivity and concern for members needs and issues in a professional and pleasant manner.
Spa Operations
o Responsible for inventory and stocking all guest supplies and linens.
o Assists with daily set up of food and beverage items and equipment, and replenishing Spa pantry and snack display.
o Maintain a clean and orderly presentation of all retail items.
o Communicate with the Spa Manager regarding low inventory.
o Communicates any maintenance/general cleanliness issues to the Spa Manager.
Spa Cleanliness
o Conduct daily checklist of cleaning and inspection, noting inconsistencies and accuracies and communicating to the Spa/Salon Manager.
o Responsible for preparing rooms for treatments.
o Pick-up and return loose equipment to designated area throughout the day.
o Empty trashcans and dispose bulk garbage in designated bins throughout the day.
o Clean and maintain all fixtures, woodwork, walls, and windows, as well as additional parking lot cleanup, as needed.
o Vacuum daily and as needed throughout the day, moving furniture and equipment, as needed to insure thoroughness.
o Dispose of all soiled laundry in designated bins throughout the day.
o Thoroughly clean sinks, mirrors, glass, countertops, walls, vents, windowsills, equipment, and floors throughout the spa/fitness center.
o Maintain safety, sanitation, and disinfection standards in compliance with, or exceeding, State and OSHA requirements, and DLC SOPs and guidelines.
Qualifications


High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Additional degrees and certifications preferred.
Prior experience in luxury resorts, spas, or private clubs, preferred.
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work well alone.
Outstanding people skills and a warm, friendly personality.
Knowledge and understanding of all spa services and operations.
Additional Requirements


Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
