Job description

This position will be responsible to oversee the front desk is operating smoothly and manage the flow of the front desk business and phone coverage. This position assists the Practice Administrator where needed and responsible for office in Practice Administrators absence. The position has many points of contact with the patients and is responsible for ensuring the patient has a great first impression.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Resolve patient account issues Address A/R accounts with patients before treatment is rendered Manage offices collection accounts and all incoming web inquiries and email correspondence Maintains an environment which promotes an outstanding patient experience Ensures the office is clean & presentable on a daily basis Manage schedule for front desk staff and arrange coverage for time off and delegate duties. Process payroll as needed for all administrative staff Assist as backup for patient coordinator and specialty treatment coordinators when needed Address performance concerns with patient coordinators as need. Responsible for new employee orientation and training in the office Train and update patient coordinators and new employees on policy changes and new hire training including HIPPA, OSHA and Sexual Harassment.

Assist w/ DV Login Uniform Ordering Adding Schedule Ensure daily processing of Dental Exchange and NEA is completed. Track, audit and oversee daily/monthly bank deposits and petty cash Order Business office supplies within budgeting guidelines given by Practice Administrator Critique router slips and charts for the next business day and ensure all charts are pulled and transferred if needed Oversee maintenance of charts and archive charts as needed Responsible for the Daily Dashboard and holding team accountable for completing Keep a retail product inventory log-Cross referenced with DV and order retail products as needed Organization of incoming and outgoing mail Maintains strict compliance with Federal, State and other regulations (OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPPA, ADA, DOL, Company policies & procedures) Other tasks as requested by direct Manager Education & Experience: 3 or more years of dental front desk experience Management experience preferred High School Diploma or GED Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or other related degree Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proven track record of developing highly productive working relationships Strong computer skills including: Microsoft Office and Healthcare Practice Management systems Superior customer services skills and successful record of customer relations management Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently and professionally in a fast past environment Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information in a manner that inspires confidence and trust Successful record of managing multiple projects with correct prioritization and time management skills Understanding of P&L process Knowledge of insurance preferred #IND7 Apply
