Job description

The F&B Operations & Events Manager oversees banquet, catering, VIP, and special event operations while supporting daily Food & Beverage operational standards across multiple outlets. This position is responsible for event execution, staff leadership, guest service standards, operational coordination, menu development support, and compliance monitoring to ensure successful events and elevated guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute weddings, VIP events, corporate functions, banquets, and special events in accordance with company and guest expectations
• Lead, schedule, train, and supervise banquet and front-of-house event staff, including servers, bartenders, and event labor
• Manage client communication, event logistics, floorplans, room setups, timelines, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Coordinate with culinary, banquet, marketing, and operational teams to ensure smooth event execution
• Assist with the development, maintenance, pricing, and updating of banquet and catering menus in collaboration with Food & Beverage and Culinary leadership
• Assist with beverage coordination, inventory oversight, operational reporting, and event-related financial accountability
• Conduct Food & Beverage operational audits across restaurants, bars, banquet spaces, and service areas to ensure cleanliness, service standards, and compliance with company procedures.
• Monitor POS activity, comp and discount usage, service standards, and operational accountability through routine compliance audits and reporting
• Submit operational audit findings and follow-up documentation as required
• Maintain compliance with Health Department regulations, alcohol service standards, gaming-related procedures, and company policies
Requirements
• 1-3 years of hospitality, banquet, catering, or Food & Beverage supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and guest service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality systems such as Caterease, Slingshot-Avero, Universal Desktop, or similar platforms preferred
• Food Handler Card and TAM certification required
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and blackout dates
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. preferred
