Position Type: Full Time

Primary Responsibilities and Key Deliverables
  • Supervise: All Miller Integrated Solutions Service lines including Hydroblasting, Vacuum Truck and Welding / Coating
  • Operations: Oversee daily operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor a team of operators and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Project Coordination: Plan and coordinate hydroblasting, vacuum truck and mechanical projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and client communication.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols are followed, conduct regular safety meetings, and address any safety concerns promptly.
  • Quality Control: Monitor work quality, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions as needed to meet client specifications and standards.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of operations, including daily logs, incident reports, and maintenance records.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all Miller Integrated equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Port Lavaca, and relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of hydroblasting and vacuum truck operations, including equipment and safety protocols as well as familiarity with welding and coating operations.

Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role overseeing hydroblasting and vacuum truck, and welding/coating operations. Familiarity with mechanical and other industrial operations is a plus.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in hydroblasting, vacuum truck operations, and safety (e.g., OSHA) are highly desirable.
Work Environment
  • Tools, equipment, machinery used: Hydroblasting, Vacuum Truck, Tank cleaning equipment and welding operations.
  • Working conditions: Will be exposed to all weather conditions. Work on various structures and surfaces both at ground and elevated levels up to and possibly exceeding 150 ft. Work in confined spaces. Work a 12-hour shift with 30-minute lunch breaks. If requested, work overtime, and respond to emergency callouts whenever they occur. Work days, nights, and weekends. Travel to customer and other Miller sites as needed.
  • Physical effort required: Handling tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, squat, and kneel. Must be capable of climbing towers/vessels/tanks.
