Duties:Data and Digital Literacy: Leverages data analysis tools to explore moderately complex data, develops and tests hypotheses, uses data to influence strategic work, and builds and presents insights.Identifies, implements, and drives technology change withinscopeof work.Uses visualization tools to represent data and construct coherent stories to influence decisions.Mechatronics: Updates existing CAD drawings based on requirements. Describes common drafting conventions, tools, procedures, and processes.Identifiesbasic functions and features of a design and visualization system. Navigates andtroubleshootscontrol systems.Identifieselectrical design concepts and techniques used in a supply chain.Cites examples of usage or application of electrical design in automating supply chain processes.Demonstrates knowledge of wiring schematics, ensuring they meet requirements and are compliant. Describes common mechanical components of Distribution Center and Fulfillment Center equipment.Namesbasic tools or technologies used in mechanical engineering. Automation System Design:Identifiesthe areas for usage of automationmachineries. Assesses tasks for automation potential. Obtains information about alternative automation solutions.Assistswith analyzing space and cost requirements associated with machinery usage.Identifiesissues and provides resolutions to problems related to automationmachineries. Process Flow Design: Interprets information to quantify theanticipatedoutcome of supply chain decisions. Describes the typical tasks associated with using and managing suppliers. Understands issues and considerations for inbound and outboundlogistics. Describes basic logistical processes and subprocesses.Usesa variety of business process design tools and techniques. Examines, interprets, and explains workflow materials and documentation. Analyzes a process and associated business logic and offers recommendations based on analysis. Carries out business process design tasks with some supervision and coaching.Documentscommon obstacles and barriers for effective implementation. Project Management: Plans and estimates simple projects under guidance. Produces standard project status reports. Obtains information from stakeholders during the planning stage of a project.Assistsin detailed project plans, including costs, schedules, and resource requirements. Provides input for Gantt or PERT charts or their equivalents to track project progress and status.Managesmultiple projects with varying timelines simultaneously. Automation Integration:Identifiescommon issues and considerations for bringing a new automation design to a facility. Works with teams to measure and manage project performance. Documentsimplementationplans and estimates for projects. Documents project implementation meetings, particularly status reports on next steps. Participates in the development of technology interfaces and bridges. Works with existing interfaces and integration and migration plans within assignedarea. Prepares integration tests. Measures and compares results with established test criteria. Advanced Analytics: Explains the key concepts and features of data analysis methods. Lists the major sources (for example, tools, dashboards, industry sources etc.) for collecting data. Explores, compiles, and manipulates data using various tools. Analyzes data and computes descriptive statistics thatidentifytrends, outliers, and correlations. Position may work at various unanticipated Walmart locations throughout the U.S.

Minimum education and experiencerequired:Master's degree or the equivalent in Engineering or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience in engineering, supply chain, or related experience.

Skills Required:Must have experience with: Testing automation machines and having a solid understanding of HMI screen interface for efficient operation of automation systems; Applying Lean methodologies, including DMAIC and SIPOC, to implement process improvements and optimize operational efficiency; Designing and developing interactive reporting dashboards using GoogleBigQuery, Looker Studio, Tableau, and Power BI to visualize data and support strategic decision-making; Assisting design teams in engineering drawing development, applying design skills through AutoCAD and similar tools; Conducting comprehensive analysis of Big Data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for informed decision-making; Utilizing Automation machinery knowledge in electrical equipment's and controls (PLC, IDFs, VFDs), with skills in integrating these systems into automation machinery; Conducting statistical analysis on demand and supply data, with the ability to create time series forecasts and labor forecasts for production and operations; Performing Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for automation software improvements; Evaluating Big Data to develop annual operating plans and financial projections; Developing algorithms and scripts in Excel to reduce quality defects per million to Six sigma standards.Employerwill accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $180,000/year.Additionalcompensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.Additionalcompensation for certain positions may alsoinclude:Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives
