Job description

Position Summary...What you'll do...
About the Team The Supply Chain Automation Engineering – Store Benefit team sits at the intersection of automation engineering, store operations, workforce management, and finance. The team’s mission is to ensure automation investments translate into real, measurable, and sustainable labor and operational benefits in stores. We partner closely with Workforce Management, Store Operations, and Supply Chain partners to align automation capabilities with labor planning, execution readiness, and financial commitments. The team is responsible for valuing automation initiatives, sequencing work to maximize store impact, and ensuring benefits are realized accurately and on time. This team operates across Ambient and Perishable networks, using data, analytics, and AI‑enabled tools to close gaps between automation delivery and store outcomes—while building repeatable processes that scale across the enterprise.
What You’ll Do:
  • Lead complex, cross‑functional automation initiatives using strong project management discipline—clear milestones, owners, risks, and dependencies—to ensure automation and labor changes land on time and as intended
  • Translate validated business problems, store needs, value drivers, and dependencies into clear, outcome‑based requirements for Automation Capabilities and Design teams.
  • Support delivery of committed store labor and operational benefits by ensuring automation initiatives are properly valued, scoped, and enabled
  • Contribute to valuation, prioritization, and sequencing of sortation work tied to store benefit
  • Leverage AI‑enabled analytics (Python, SQL, Dataiku, Copilot) to forecast benefit, run scenarios, and proactively surface risks.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for store partners and senior leadership.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if…
  • You combine project management rigor with analytical depth, driving complex initiatives from concept through execution while managing timelines, risks, and cross‑team dependencies with confidence.
  • You’re enthusiastically curious, enjoy solving complex problems, and are passionately customer-centric
  • You communicate complex topics simply, earning trust with store partners and senior leaders through clear storytelling backed by data.
  • You develop systems, dashboards, and processes that make store benefit delivery repeatable, transparent, and scalable, not hero‑dependent.
