Job description

About Re:Build Manufacturing & Oribi

Oribi Manufacturing, LLC (Oribi) located in Denver, CO, is a leader in the development and production of advanced thermoplastic composites. We utilize automation, robotics, and advanced materials to produce advanced composite parts for a wide range of industries, including sporting goods, defense, wind energy, automotive, marine, and others.

Re:Build Manufacturing is a growing family of industrial and engineering businesses combining enabling technologies, operational superiority, and strategic M&A to build America's next generation industrial company. At Re:Build we deploy deep expertise in engineering, operations management, and technology to supercharge the performance of our member companies. We leverage deep professional expertise and a candid, principled operating culture to drive differentiated outcomes. Ours is a fast-paced environment where individuals can stretch and be challenged to pursue their fullest potential.

Re:Build was founded to pioneer a profitable model for the revitalization of US manufacturing. We've assembled a powerful set of complimentary capabilities and lines of business that enable us to pursue a wide range of end markets. Our acquired businesses are grounded in build-to-print and by-the-hour engineering and design services, and we're leveraging their combined expertise to migrate to increasingly sophisticated program development and production, as well as the generation of our own products. Our unique set of capabilities lend themselves to highly complex systems and products, and we offer customers a range of services including product and systems design, automation, fabrication, assembly, and large volume contract manufacturing. Our customers span a wide array of industries including aerospace, defense, mobility, healthcare, pharma, biotech, clean tech, chemicals, energy, lifestyle, food production, and industrial equipment.

Who we are looking for

We're seeking a Finance Operations Manager who is energized by the intersection of finance and operations-someone who sees financial management as a tool for driving business performance, not just recording it. You will partner closely with our operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to support decision-making through insightful analysis, reliable reporting, and forward-looking planning. Leading our accounting operations and directly supervising our Staff Accountant, you'll ensure we have the financial infrastructure and discipline to support Oribi's growth while maintaining the agility of a nimble, innovative manufacturer. The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of hands-on finance experience, a strong operational mindset, and the desire to build both technical expertise and leadership capabilities in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

 What you get to do

  • Lead the monthly financial close process and deliver accurate, timely reporting that keeps leadership informed and empowered to act quickly
  • Partner directly with the General Manager and operations leadership to translate financial performance into actionable business insights
  • Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts that align with strategic goals and support data-driven decision-making
  • Build and track operational KPIs and input metrics that drive continuous improvement and long-term value creation
  • Mentor and develop the Staff Accountant, providing coaching, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth
  • Transform financial data into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences across the organization
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to support new product launches, customer programs, and business development opportunities
  • Continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls, identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency gains
  • Serve as the financial liaison between Oribi and Re:Build Manufacturing corporate finance, ensuring seamless reporting and policy alignment
  • Support business development efforts with cost modeling, pricing analysis, and financial feasibility assessments for advanced composite component opportunities
  • Champion a culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and financial literacy across the organization

What you bring to the team - A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial operations or management accounting, including exposure to manufacturing cost accounting, operational metrics, and cross-functional collaboration. You're equally comfortable building a forecast, closing the books, and walking the production floor to understand how the business really works.

Additional information - This role is office-based but requires a "go to the gemba" mindset. We expect you to regularly walk the production floor, observe our manufacturing processes, and build relationships with operators, engineers, and supervisors. The best financial insights come from understanding how continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic components are actually made-not just reviewing spreadsheets. Your willingness to get out of the office and into the operation will make you a more effective business partner.

.The BIG payoff

We are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.

Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and will share in the financial rewards of the success we achieve together, at all levels of the company!

We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operate
