Job Description:

The Digital Innovation Team supports the total digital transformation of Marubeni group companies in North America via innovative technology, design, marketing, and analytics capabilities. Our interdisciplinary team of technical experts enables customized technical solutions and accelerates value creation through alignment of business goals with technology implementation.

The role of the Operations and Strategy Consultant is focused on realignment of business processes into a unified digital strategy with senior-level stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will understand complex processes and develop integrated systems that span everything from people to equipment. This role involves core consulting skills such as understanding the current business and future goals, developing a strategic roadmap that will facilitate future business objectives, and reduce operational inefficiencies. 


Responsibilities:
•    The primary responsibility of the Operations and Strategy Consultant is to engage business stakeholders in Marubeni Group Companies, meticulously document current workflows, identifying bottlenecks, redundancies, and "shadow processes.".
•    Interface with Digital Innovation Team members to explain as-is processes and to develop to-be strategy
•    Working from the current and future business objectives, define a transformation strategy and roadmap to drive lasting, sustainable business value
•    Define and communicate compelling business cases for the proposed transformation
•    Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
•    Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide training to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:
•    Thorough consulting skills and experience consulting cross-functional clients
•    Exceptional written, verbal, analytics, and presentation skills
•    An eye for communication design and clarity
•    Highly motivated and a self-driven problem solver with structured thinking capabilities
•    Minimum of 10 years of experience in business process management, with a focus on process automation and integration.
•    Experience managing projects and driving transformation urgency via 
•    Proven experience in a range of business and technology environments, including business strategy development, enterprise and solution architecture, digital transformation and technology business case development 
•    Experience with ERP transformations, CRM implementation, and industry research analysis
•    Working proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese language a plus.

<10% travel required, but opportunity to travel available.
