Operations Supervisor - Alliance Integration
Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
The Operations Supervisor position reports to the Director of Operations with shared direction from the Alliance group. Activities and responsibilities of the Operations Supervisor position include:
  • Develop & lead a team of industrial distribution professionals in the Alliance warehouse.
  • Ensure orders for our Alliance customers are being placed in a timely manner with the correct suppliers.
  • Facilitate the receipt of all Alliance products into the warehouse both physically and in the CribMaster database.
  • Responsible for team coverage during team PTO and absences to ensure coverage in all areas.
  • Oversee the delivery staff to ensure product makes it to the appropriate customer plant locations.
  • Manage the delivery and loading of industrial vending machines in the customer plant locations.
  • Responsible for providing team coverage for receiving, pulling product, and delivering to plant locations.
  • Direct relationships with the Alliance Sales representatives.

Education:
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred but not required.

Work Experience:
  • One to three years in a management role in inside sales / sales quotation / customer service purchasing / sourcing background desired.
  • Prior industrial distribution experience is a plus.
  • Well-organized with the ability to multitask and move from one function to another with ease. Able to make independent decision and communicate priorities to their Team.
  • Very detail-oriented; consistently maintains a high level of accuracy. Able to create standard processes based upon best practices, implement change and sustain efficiency across the Team.

Professional Skills:
  • Must be MS Outlook, Word, and Excel literate. CribMaster software experience a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and team oriented.

Position: Full-time
