Job Description
Field Work Arrangement: This is a field-based position that requires up to 50% travel to dealerships within the assigned territory on a recurring basis. The selected candidate must currently reside within the New York, Connecticut, or Alabama area or be willing to relocate to a city approved by leadership within 60 days of the start date.
The Role:
The DRP Field Implementation Manager's primary responsibility is to oversee all dealer's DRP Implementations in each region, lead the Dealer Group DRP Implementations while serving as the Channel Field's SME for the Digital Retail Platform.
What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the regional lead for dealership group implementations, providing high-touch, white-glove support to ensure a smooth rollout experience.
    • White-glove support is defined as tailored, concierge-style support with direct involvement, faster response, and often end-to-end help with complex or high-priority digital retailing engagement
  • Manage the implementation pipeline and track dealer progress through pre-onboarding, onboarding, and go-live stages, removing barriers that could delay completion.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) on GM's DRP (Digital Retail Platform), dealership operations, and automotive digital retailing best practices to drive strong engagement and utilization.
  • Maintain dealer engagement throughout the implementation process to drive momentum and readiness ensuring key dealership personnel meet required turnaround times for critical implementation milestones.
  • Act as a relationship manager for dealers during implementation, addressing concerns, navigating conflict, and managing pushback effectively.
  • Proactively identify DRP implementation risks and work to mitigate effectively and efficiently.
  • Document, communicate and escalate issues/concerns, as necessary.
  • Partner with field resources (DRP Implementation Partners) by supporting the non-technical and relationship-driven aspects of implementation while they focus on technical execution.
  • Deliver clear, engaging presentations and product demonstrations using established presentation materials.
  • Help ensure each dealership group has a positive implementation experience and is successfully launched on schedule.
  • Prioritize time effectively, focusing on high-impact DRP activities and maintaining alignment with established DRP goals.
  • Manage travel and program related expenses in accordance with GM guidelines.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
  • Background in dealership consulting or automotive retail operations.
  • Strong understanding of the retail automotive industry, including common terminology, dealership structures, and workflow processes.
  • Experience working with dealership and automotive retail software platforms, including DMS, CRM, and digital retailing solutions.
  • Knowledge of dealership desking or F&I processes.
  • Quick learner with the ability to stay current on rapidly evolving digital solutions.
  • Proven ability to maintain a positive, solutions-oriented attitude in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within the General Motors team, as well as with clients and vendor partners.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Skilled in delivering presentations, leading productive discussions, and addressing objections with resilience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel weekly (up to 60% overall depending on territory).

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate.

• Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
