WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • This position serves as a key contributor within Human Resources responsible for managing Hyundai Motor North America's corporate travel program while leading HR operational and compensation support activities. The role partners closely with HR, Finance, vendors, and leadership to ensure efficient administration of travel programs, and compensation initiatives. The position also provides support to the Compensation function through job description administration, market data collection, and compensation-related projects.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Corporate Travel Program Management
  • Oversee administration of the corporate travel program and ensure compliance with company travel policies.
  • Serve as the relationship manager for travel agencies, travel vendors, and travel technology partners.
  • Administer SAP Concur travel and expense programs, including pre-travel approval processes.
  • Analyze travel trends, utilization, and expenditures; recommend process improvements and cost-management strategies.
  • Develop communications, training materials, and reporting related to travel policy and travel program effectiveness.
  • Resolve complex travel-related issues and provide guidance to employees and management.

HR Operations
  • Develop reporting and dashboards related to departmental operations, travel spend, and HR activities.
  • Lead or support employee programs, HR initiatives, vendor management activities, and department projects.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and service delivery.

Compensation Support
  • Manage the job description review process and maintain the company job description library.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to support salary recommendations, promotions, and organizational changes.
  • Participate in compensation surveys and maintain market pricing data.
  • Develop compensation recommendations supporting internal equity and competitiveness.
  • Support annual merit, bonus, and Total Rewards programs.
  • Assist with compensation reporting, workforce analytics, and other strategic compensation projects.
  • Perform work directly related to management and business operations.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment on significant matters.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
  • Five or more years of professional experience in Human Resources, Compensation, Corporate Travel, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience conducting compensation analysis, market benchmarking, and job evaluations preferred.
  • Experience managing corporate travel programs and travel vendors preferred.
  • Experience with SAP Concur, HRIS systems, and financial reporting processes preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities are required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance operational execution with analytical responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of compensation administration principles and corporate travel management practices.
  • CCP, PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or similar certification preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.

WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
  • Compensation Range: $75,400 - $104,000 annual base salary
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
  • Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
