POSITION: HSU Football Undergraduate/Graduate Student Worker
DEPARTMENT: Athletics
SUPERVISOR TITLE: Head Football Coach
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
LOCATION: Abilene
TARGET HIRE DATE: 5/1/2026

SUMMARY/SCOPE:
Football Student Assistant(for undergraduate) or Graduate Student Worker (for graduate)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist football staff with all duties including: instruction /coaching on the field and in meetings, film breakdown and camera operations,laundry, cleaning and disinfecting, equipment (issuing and maintaining), daily/ travel operations, additional duties TBD
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Must be enrolled full-time:student assistant (undergrad - 12 hours), graduate student worker (graduate program- 6 hours).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to handle heat / cold outdoor situations, moderatelifting and carrying (equipment, dummies, etc.)
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Fast-paced, intense, and very high standard of care for studentathletes
