We are seeking an Operations Excellence Manager to enable analytics, measurement-based management, special project ownership, and elevated insights that accelerate growth and Operations quality. The ideal candidate is an experienced management consultant who's ready to operate: structuring problems, diving into data, partnering internally and externally to affect change, then measuring results to ensure change happens.

Champion Metric-Based Operations
  • Gather data, run analysis, and generate insights on the questions that move Operations: cost-to-serve, throughput and capacity, unit economics, inventory and fulfillment costs, and more
  • Drive transparency and accountability into every element of Lola's Operations, through usable dashboarding, reporting, and opportunity identification
  • Partner closely with Strategy & Analytics team to leverage all Lola's data to make better Operational decisions, prioritize initiatives, and move needles

Special Project Ownership
  • Identify, prioritize, and scope the highest-impact projects to improve Operations at Lola: define the problem/impact, build the business case, structure the plan, and build internal strategic alignment
  • Execute these projects independently and urgently, in collaboration as-needed with all relevant stakeholders (Operations team, other Lola teams, vendors, 3PLs, systems partners, and more)
  • Stand up new processes, launch new capabilities, and fix what's broken - "be hands on, don't hand off"
  • Measure before-and-after results of every major initiative across Operations to ensure lasting improvement

Serve as Operations Chief of Staff

  • Drive clarity and accountability across the Operations organization, tracking projects and priorities, providing extra bandwidth when appropriate, and escalating or re-evaluating priorities when necessary
  • 'Supercharge' the effectiveness of every Operations team member - from Head of Operations on down - Ecomm Ops, Channel Ops, Retail Ops, Customer Ops & CX, Supply Chain Ops, Technology

This role will report to the Head of Operations. Preference for candidates in New York or Utah who can be hybrid in our offices 3 days per week. Also open to remote candidates in Austin or Los Angeles.

  • Bias toward action: track record of not just analyzing but executing and getting things done in ambiguous environments
