The Operations Engineer will be responsible for driving operational excellence by proactively improving processes, enhancing systems, and leading key projects such as process optimization and initiatives. Oversee fulfillment operations and engineering support to boost efficiency and cost control. Ensure equipment readiness, foster continuous improvement through lean practices, and maintain strong risk and compliance standards.

Job Responsibilities: Process Analysis & Standardization: Identify operational bottlenecks and streamline fulfillment workflows by developing SOPs, flowcharts, and standardized documentation. Continuous Improvement: Drive the development and execution of operational processes, ensuring iterative optimization based on data-driven insights. Cross-Functional System Design: Partner with IT and business units to design and implement software solutions and tools that automate and enhance process efficiency.

Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with Field Operations and IT to define project charters, implementation roadmaps, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Technical Engineering Support: Provide expertise in warehouse layout design, equipment sourcing, vendor negotiations, and end-to-end system integration. Lean & 5S Advocacy: Champion 5S and Kaizen initiatives, managing facility standards and educating associates on the value of Lean methodology.

Inventory Integrity: Oversee daily inventory cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and data reliability. Conduct regular facility audits to ensure all warehousing activities strictly adhere to Ontario's Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards and internal quality protocols. Quality & Compliance Audits: Conduct daily facility walk-throughs to monitor product quality, expiration dates, and adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) policies.

Collaborative Project Support: Contribute expertise to various cross-functional team projects as required. Qualifications and Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Operations/Process Engineering, or Supply Chain Management; or a Bachelor's in Engineering with 2+ years of process improvement experience. Ability to navigate loosely structured environments and make effective decisions in situations involving uncertainty or lack of information.

Demonstrated success in multitasking and managing multiple high-priority projects or tasks simultaneously. Fast and enthusiastic learner capable of rapidly acquiring expertise in new fields or technical domains. Proficiency in SQL, Advanced Excel, AutoCAD, and Tableau.
