Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the product remains operational, scalable, and secure.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement patches and updates to the environment.
  • Adjust and optimize deployment pipelines to streamline operations and deployment cycles.
  • Provide technical guidance and support, including on-call coverage in alignment with the needs of the PST/EST time zones.
  • Monitor system health, identify potential downtimes, and swiftly resolve deployment-related issues.
  • Work collaboratively with 1-2 DevOps engineers and the Head of Infrastructure based in Europe and Dubai to ensure global coverage.
  • Automate processes to improve efficiency and reliability of development and release processes.
  • Maintain readiness to engage in emergency troubleshooting and fixes, potentially during overtime hours.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of Docker and Amazon Web Services.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes and familiarity with ArgoCD.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control using GitHub Actions.
  • Strong ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Problem-solving mindset, acute attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Programming skills in Bash, Python, and JavaScript.
